Why we exist

A safe space for dads, held by dads.

Pints & Ponytails gives dads a practical way to show up differently - for their children, their partners and themselves.

  • Learn side by side. Research shows men often communicate more openly while sharing a task than standing face to face.
  • Talk without judgement. Dads share the mental health journeys that began when they became fathers, often opening up to people they have only just met.
  • Honour our daughters. Hair skills create everyday moments of care, confidence and deeper connection at home.
  • Share the load. Dads take on more of the domestic and mental load that too often sits with mothers.
  • Widen how dads show up. Present, capable, open and proud - a progressive version of masculinity.
  • Stand for something better. We reject toxic ideology online and back practical care. The press has called Pints & Ponytails "the antidote to the manosphere".
